Person Robs Basking Ridge Pharmacy, Takes Oxycodone: Police
The suspect — still at large — appeared to have pepper spray and a knife, according to Bernards Township police.

BASKING RIDGE, NJ — A person robbed the Riverwalk Pharmacy and demanded Oxycodone on Monday afternoon, according to Bernards Township police. The suspect, who took $250 worth of pills, remains at large, according to authorities.
The incident occurred just before 2:30 p.m. Monday at 665 Martinsville Rd., police said. A pharmacist approached the female suspect and received a handwritten note threatening her safety and demanding Oxycodone, according to authorities. Oxycodone is a semi-synthetic opioid drug commonly prescribed for pain.
The pharmacist gathered the Oxycodone, and the suspect appeared to have a can of pepper spray and a knife, police said. The suspect walked to the counter and retrieved several hundred pills of the drug, according to Bernards Township PD.

The suspect ran away in an unknown direction, police said. She is about 5 feet, 8 inches and 230 pounds. The suspect, who police say is light-skinned, wore black clothing, a black face covering and red shoes or sneakers.
