Pony Pals Club is Here in Basking Ridge

"Pony Pals Club" introduces children to ponies while encouraging child-parent interaction

Basking Ridge, NJ -- The staff at Lord Stirling Stable will present “Pony Pals Club,” a program for children and their parents that is designed to introduce children to ponies while encouraging child-parent interaction.

“Pony Pals Club” is scheduled for Saturday, April 9 at the Stable located at 256 South Maple Avenue in Basking Ridge.The 30-minute program from 10 to 10:30 a.m. is directed at 2 to 4 year olds and features a pony-themed story and a lead line pony ride. Fee is $5 per parent/child pair and $3 for each additional sibling age 2 to 9 years.

A 60-minute program from 11 a.m. to noon is directed at children ages 5 to 7 and a parent and includes a pony story, game activity and/or craft, and a lead line pony ride. Siblings age 5 to 9 are also welcome. Fee is $10 per child/parent pair and $5 per sibling.

Both programs require a parent to attend. Pre-registration is required online at www.somersetcountyparks.org, by phone at 908-766-5955, or in person at the Stable office. Payment by cash, check, Visa, MasterCard, American Express or Discover is required at time of enrollment.
