Reopening Basking Ridge Businesses 'Is Welcomed'
Gov. Phil Murphy reopened more businesses Wednesday as he readies a plan to restart New Jersey's economy amid the coronavirus outbreak.
BASKING RIDGE, NJ — Ryan McCloskey with the Basking Ridge Business Alliance says Gov. Phil Murphy's announcement on Wednesday to begin opening some small businesses could help pave "the way for businesses to recover from the impact of COVID-19."
"Many businesses are looking forward to opening their doors as the Coronavirus situation improves so any opportunity for businesses to safely conduct commerce is welcomed. We hope that easing of the restrictions prove to be successful so that further easing can take place, paving the way for businesses to recover from the impact of COVID-19," said McCloskey.
McCloskey went on to praise local township businesses that have been able to find creative ways to continue to operate during the pandemic. And asked residents to continue to shop local.
