“After cancelling last year’s spring season, the Ridge Baseball Club board is excited to prepare for a 2021 Spring season,” said Kevin Larner, President of the RBC Board of Directors. “After working hard to develop comprehensive COVID-19 protocols, we had a successful fall season in 2020, and we are looking forward to a safe and fun spring season, so we can bring a sense of normalcy back to the youth of our community. I am proud to lead this dedicated board to help deliver an opportunity to promote both physical health and social interaction for the township’s girls and boys through a game we all love.”

Ridge Baseball Club is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization that provides travel and recreational baseball opportunities to children in Basking Ridge and surrounding communities aged 5 to 12. Players in RBC’s recreational program are placed in leagues based on age and ability. RBC’s Tee Ball program allows the youngest players to begin learning the basics of baseball in a safe and fun environment and is open to players who will be 5 years old before April, 30 2021. Players aged 6 to 8 will play in RBC’s Rookie League or Minor League, which are non-competitive instructional leagues designed to allow the players to continue to have fun while advancing their baseball skills. The Collegiate League is a semi-competitive league typically consisting of players ages 8 to 10 and introduces baseball strategy and skills in a fun team-oriented environment. Players aged 10 to 12 play in either the National League or the American League, which are RBC’s most competitive leagues.
