Ridge Girls' Lacrosse Wins Big Over Watchung Hills

Team Celebrates Senior Night

Bernards Township -- The Ridge girls' lacrosse team had a lot to celebrate the evening of May 6th: Senior Night and a 16-3 victory over Watchung Hills.

The Ridge program recognized ten 2021 players and their parents on Lee Field before the game began, a contest the team hoped would help turn the tide of their 1-3 season-to-date record. Their hopes were fulfilled when the Red Devils quickly pulled ahead of the Warriors, with a first half score of 12-0 before the Red Devils sealed the win and boosted their record to 2-3.

University of North Carolina commit Olivia Pikiell led the charge with five goals and five assists. Nicole Sileo and Julie Narleski each netted three goals for Ridge, accompanied by Kate Pesarchick and Jen Prince who both contributed two and Riley Olmstead who scored one. Sileo and Prince also had assists. Goalie Emma Albee recorded four saves.
