Ridge High School Students To Stage 'Guys And Dolls'
Ridge High School Drama Club will present their winter production of the musical Guys and Dolls the last weekend of February.

BASKING RIDGE, NJ — Ridge High School Drama Club will present their winter production of the musical Guys and Dolls the last weekend of February.
The performance was directed by Martha Harvey, co-produced with Barbara Retzko, and co-choreographed by Rachel Miranda and Jennifer DiGiuseppe.
Guys and Dolls is a musical romantic comedy involving: a high-rolling gambler Sky played by senior Logan Sharpe, a puritanical missionary, Sarah played by senior Katherine White, a showgirl dreaming of the straight-and-narrow, Adelaide, played by Senior Annika Helgeson, and a crap game manager, Nathan, played by senior Nicholas Casey.

Guys and Dolls tells of con-man Nathan Detroit’s efforts to find new life for his illegal, but notorious, crap game. A story of friendship, family, and acceptance, Guys and Dolls brings together different social circles to highlight the importance of staying true to your word and being able to rely on your friends and family in times of hardship.
The cast is supported by more than 50 students on tech and stage crew, under the direction of Dallas Harvey and Jason Stewart, as well as a 35-plus member, student dominated orchestra, under the direction of Jennifer Curran and Broadway conductor Ed Alstrom leading the music direction.

To help encompass the 1920's, Lacie Wolfe and Seanna Benz along with the rest of the student costume crew dress the cast in colors, patterns and styles that embody New York City Night Life. The show is comprised of a total of more than 155 Ridge students.
Performances will be held on Thursday, Feb. 27 at 6:30 p.m., Friday, Feb. 28 at 7 p.m., and Saturday, Feb. 29 at 1 and 7 p.m. at Ridge Performing Arts Center, 268 South Finley Ave. Basking Ridge.
Tickets are $16 for adults and $12 for students and seniors. Seats can be reserved at ridgepac.com.
