Ridge Student Stars In 'Alice In Wonderland' At The Jersey Shore
Ashley Narsu will perform as the lead role of Alice at Axelrod Performing Arts Center from Aug. 18 to Aug 25.
BASKING RIDGE, NJ — Ridge High School junior, Ashley Narsu, will perform as the lead role of Alice in "Alice in Wonderland" at Axelrod Performing Arts Center from Aug. 18 to Aug 25.
"I’m so excited to be playing Alice," says Narsu. "There’s such inspiring talent and great cast here and I love working with them everyday."
This is the second time Narsu will be performing with the Axelrod Contemporary Ballet Theater. Earlier this year she performed in "The Jungle Book."

Narsu began dancing at Gotta Dance seven years ago where she studied ballet, pointe, jazz, and contemporary dance.
She also trains at New Jersey School of Ballet in their pre-professional ballet intensive program and dances the role of Clara with New Jersey Ballet’s Nutcracker on tour and at Mayo Performing Arts Center during the holiday season.

While at Gotta Dance, Narsu met Gabriel Chajnik, Artistic Director and Choreographer for the Axelrod Contemporary Ballet Theater.
The Axelrod Contemporary Ballet Theater will present the world premiere of "Alice in Wonderland" on Aug. 18, Aug. 21, and Aug. 25 at 7 p.m. and Aug. 25 at 2 p.m.
Ticket prices for "Alice in Wonderland" are: Premium Adult $54; Regular Adult $48; Premium Senior $46; Regular Senior $40; Students $26. Group discounts are also available.
