Snow Closes Mountain Park Turf fields In Basking Ridge
Breaking: Due to the snow, Mountain Park Turf fields are closed Friday and are expected to remain closed through Monday, Bernards Twp. said.
BASKING RIDGE, NJ — Due to weather conditions, the Mountain Park Turf fields are closed while they are snow covered, Bernards Township announced Friday.
"With the cold temperatures in the forecast for the next several days, we don’t anticipate the snow melting before Monday. Therefore, all reservations for today through Sunday March 12th have been cancelled," the township stated.
Conditions of the field will be assessed on Monday, March 13 and an update will be sent to residents.

Residents are also advised not to shovel snow off the turf field as it can cause significant damage.
