South Finley Avenue To Be Repaved Overnight
The construction is part of the county's 2018 road resurfacing project.

BASKING RIDGE, NJ — Drivers in Basking Ridge should expect delays overnight as Somerset County works on County Route 613 South Finley Avenue.
Construction will begin at 6:30 p.m. on Monday and end at 8:30 a.m. on Tuesday from Cross Road to the NJ Transit bridge. The construction is part of the county's 2018 road resurfacing project.

Southbound traffic traveling on South Finley Avenue looking to get to the Lyons Roah/Stonehouse Road area will have to make a right turn onto Lake Road, then a left turn onto Mount Airy Road and then a left turn onto Lyons Road, Bernards Township Police report.
Northbound traffic on South Finley Avenue looking to get to the area of Lake Road or the center of town, the road will be closed at Stonehouse Road near the train trestle. The detour will be a right turn onto Stonehouse Road, then a left turn onto Hass Road, then a left turn on to Pond Hill Road, then a left turn onto South Maple Avenue, then left turn onto Cross Road and then follow detour signs to South Finley, police said.

Southbound traffic on South Maple Avenue looking to make a right turn onto Cross Road to travel to Lyons Road/Stonehouse Road will make a right turn on to Pond Hill Road, then a right turn onto Hass Road, and then a right turn on to Stonehouse Road.
Northbound traffic on South Maple Avenue looking to travel on Cross Road to Lyons Road will make a left on to Cross Road, then right onto Woodstone Road, then left onto Winding Lane, then right onto South Finley, then left onto Lake Road and follow detours to Mount Air Road where you will make a left turn and then a left or right turn onto Lyons Road, police report.
