Veneto Ristorante In Basking Ridge To Close Permanently
After 17 years, Veneto Ristorante Pizzeria will close after the business day March 28.

BASKING RIDGE, NJ — Veneto Ristorante Pizzeria will soon close for good. The Basking Ridge restaurant announced Wednesday night that it will shutter after the business day March 28.
"Through the years we have gotten to know and your families, seen your children grow into adults, and adults into grandparents," said a note from ownership and staff on the restaurant Facebook page. "We’ve made great friends we will never forget. We are grateful to everyone who has supported us for the last 17 years, we would have never reached this milestone without you our loyal customers, and our amazing staff."
The restaurant didn't announce a reason for closing. But coronavirus restrictions have created a difficult business climate for the industry. During the pandemic, however, Veneto's has provided meals for front-line workers such as hospital staff and EMTs.
