Water Main Break Closes South Maple Avenue Thursday

BASKING RIDGE, NJ — A water main break has closed a portion of South Maple Avenue in Basking Ridge on Thursday. This is the second water main break in the past two days in the township.

The break was reported at 1 p.m. causing the roadway to close between Cross Road and Pond Hill Road for about six hours, Bernards Township Police said.

Drivers are advised to use a different route and avoid the area.
