Barnegat Branch Trail Reopens In Berkeley
The trail entrances at Dudley Park and Serpentine Drive reopened Monday after trestle repairs were completed.

BERKELEY, NJ — The Barnegat Branch Trail entrances at Dudley Park and Serpentine Drive in Berkeley reopened Monday after trestle repairs were completed.
The trail entrances were closed since Tuesday to clear space for construction and give large equipment access to the trestle.
The Ocean County Bridge Department replaced the bulkhead on the north side of the trestle with a retaining wall to stabilize the bank and prevent erosion.
