BERKELEY, NJ — There's a lot of news to keep up with right now — locally, nationally and worldwide. Here's a recap of coronavirus updates in Berkeley.

Cases

The Ocean County Health Department has reported 838 total coronavirus cases and 101 deaths in Berkeley as of Wednesday afternoon. That's an increase of 40 cases and one new death since Berkeley Patch's last update Aug. 21.

Officials reported 27 new cases in Ocean County on Wednesday, bringing the area to 11,502 cases and 968 deaths.
