Berkeley Jersey Mike's To Donate Full Day Sales To Make-A-Wish NJ
Jersey Mike's Subs will donate 100 percent of Wednesday sales to local charities.

BERKELEY, N.J. — Jersey Mike's Subs locations, including the Berkeley restaurant, will be donating 100 percent of sales on Wednesday to local charities as part of their ninth annual "Month of Giving" fundraising campaign.
Local Jersey Mike's restaurants will give 100 percent of the day's sales — not just profit — on March 27 to the partner charities. Berkeley's sales will go toward Make-A-Wish New Jersey.

- Make-A-Wish New Jersey (67 locations in North and Central NJ including Ocean and Monmouth Counties- watch video of last year's initiative)
- Alex's Lemonade Stand (5 Jersey Mike's restaurants in South Jersey + 12 in Pennsylvania)'s>
- Hugs for Brady (Princeton and Hamilton Square)
- Ryan's Quest (Hamilton)
- Sean's Pals (West Orange)
- Steps Together (Hillsborough)
- Westfield YMCA (Westfield)

Jersey Mike's, of course, was founded in Ocean County. The business originally began as Mike's Subs, a small shop in Point Pleasant in 1956. Back then, submarine sandwiches were relatively new to many Americans.
