Berkeley Library To Hold Presentation On The Beatles

A man who grew up in Liverpool and attended the same schools as band members will lead the presentation.

BERKELEY, NJ — "Meet the Beatles" like you never have before. The Ocean County Library's Berkeley branch (30 Station Rd.) will hold a presentation on the legendary band at 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 23.

Paul Groom grew up in Liverpool. He attended the same high school, Sunday school and youth club as band members of The Beatles. Groom presents the story of their rise from obscurity to stardom with several personal and unique accounts.

The Friends of the Berkeley Library have sponsored this free program. Registration is required.
