Berkeley Native Signs With Rockies Organization
Andrew DiPiazza made All-State first team twice with Central Regional. He announced this weekend that he signed with the Rockies.

BERKELEY, NJ — From the Golden Eagles to a Major League organization. Andrew DiPiazza announced last weekend that he signed with the Rockies.
DiPiazza, of Bayville, made first-team All-State twice with Central Regional High School.
He went on to pitch for Mercer County Community College, earning National Junior College Athletic Association Division II Pitcher of the Year after going 12-2 in 2016. DiPiazza went 20-3 with 193 strikeouts for MCCC from 2016-17.

Then DiPiazza pitched for Rowan University. He went 7-1 with a 1.49 ERA in 10 starts in 2018. The Bayville native tied the school record with 15 strikeouts against Ripon that season. In 2019, he won conference Pitcher of the Year.
