BERKELEY, NJ — Four incumbents will face three Democratic challengers this November for four council seats in the general election. See the latest primary results.

In Wards 1, 3 and 4, each ticket features a Republican incumbent and a Democratic candidate. Angelo Guadagno is running unopposed for re-election to represent Ward 2 on the council.

James Byrnes, Angelo Guadagno, Michael Signorile and Sophia Gingrich are running for re-election on the Republican ticket and Alexis Loftus, Andrew Prudente and Thomas White Jr. are running as Democrats.

  • Alexis K. Loftus: 205

Ward 2 (7 of 7 districts reporting)

  • Angelo Guadagno: 605

Ward 3 (11 of 11 districts reporting)

  • Michael Signorile: 1,176
  • Andrew Prudente: 494

Ward 4 (14 of 14 districts reporting)

  • Sophia Gingrich: 1,241
  • Thomas White Jr.: 558
