Berkeley Rec. Opens Art, Drama Classes For Kids
The Berkeley Township Recreation Department's activities begin Feb. 1. Here's how to sign up.

BERKELEY, NJ — The Berkeley Township Recreation Department opened registration for "Intro to Drama" and its arts and crafts program. The programs run Feb. 1 to March 21 and are open to Grades 1-6.
Intro to Drama
Children will have fun and make new friends while learning the basics of acting, singing and dancing. Kids will be expected to learn their lines and perform in front of a group.

The children will also learned and participate in basic stage craft, including use of props, costuming and set making. An experienced drama teacher and choreographer will instruct the class.
Students will perform a show March 28 at Central Regional High School.

The class takes place 9:30-11:30 a.m. Saturdays and costs $70 per child.
Arts & Crafts
The class will take place at the Nature Study Center (500 Western Boulevard). It will run from 10-11:30 a.m. Saturdays and cost $70 per child.
