Berkeley Summer Concert Series 2021 Lineup Announced
There will be five concerts in Berkeley's 2021 Sounds of Summer Concert Series, which begins in June and ends in September.
BERKELEY, NJ — The lineup for the 2021 Sounds of Summer Concert Series at Veterans Park has been finalized by township officials.
There will be five concerts in this year's series, which begins in June and ends in September
Mayor Carmen Amato announced the official concert schedule on Monday.

"While keeping all COVID precautions in mind, I am pleased to announce the return of our popular Sounds of Summer Concert Series for 2021. As usual, our outdoor concerts are free to the public and we are once again partnering with radio station WJRZ, who will provide one of their DJ’s to emcee at each concert,” Amato said.
Attendees should bring a chair or blanket with them. Refreshments will be provided by local nonprofit groups and organizations that use the concerts as their fundraisers.

Social distancing will be enforced and masks must be worn when arriving and leaving the park, using the restrooms, visiting vendors and when 6 feet social distancing cannot be maintained. Masks do not need to be worn after people are seated during the concert.
Here is the summer concert lineup:
June 23, 6-9 p.m.
- Jukebox Legends: Sounds of the '50s and '60s
- AM Gold Yacht Rock Party: Songs from 1975-1990 including Hall & Oates, Huey Lewis, Phil Collins and more.
July 7, 6-9 p.m.
- Gerard Esposito: Music from Broadway to Vegas.
- Total Soul: Songs from the '60s through today, including Michael Jackson, The Commodores, Bruno Mars and more.
- Fireworks at 9 p.m.
July 17, 5-8 p.m., Beach Party at White Sands Beach at 23rd Avenue in South Seaside Park
- The Verdict: Reggae band creating sounds of the Caribbean.
Aug. 4, 6-9 p.m.
- Rock n’ Rhythm: Sounds of traditional Doo-Wop and contemporary styles.
- Super Trans Am: Arena anthems of the '70s band, including songs from Queen, Foreigner, Journey and more.
Community Pride Day on Sept. 11 will celebrate Berkeley Township's original Founder’s Day:
Performances by Central Regional Marching Band and Chorus: 2-5 p.m.
9/11 Memorial and Remembrance Ceremony: 5 p.m.
Stiletto & the Saxman: 6-7 p.m.
New Power Soul: 7:30-9 p.m.
Fireworks sponsored by Aqua NJ: 9 p.m.
All concerts will be held at Veterans Park, except for the Beach Party in South Seaside Park.
“As you can see, we have a great mix of talented groups in our summer line up,” Amato said. “There’s something for everyone! Please come on out for a great summer of entertainment and don't forget to bring a chair!”
