Berkeley Township Collecting Masks, Supplies for Schools
Supplies can be dropped off at several locations around Berkeley.
BERKELEY, NJ — Berkeley Township is holding its annual school supply drive. This year, they're asking for a little more because of the coronavirus pandemic.
Mayor Carmen Amato and Berkeley Recreation requested donations of reusable masks and other personal protective equipment. Schools could also use backpacks, notebooks, safety scissors, pens and pencils, erasers, markers, glue and glue sticks, crayons and rulers.
Supplies can be dropped off at the Berkeley Recreation Center, the mayor's office at Town Hall, the Lifeguard Station on 23rd Avenue in South Seaside Park and the recreation booth at the Sounds of Summer Concert Series.
