Berkeley Twp. Schools Going Remote For A Week After The Holidays

Superintendent Dr. James Roselli announced the transition in a letter to parents on Friday.

BERKELEY, NJ — The Berkeley Township School District will go remote for the week after winter break. Superintendent Dr. James Roselli announced the transition in a letter to parents on Friday, citing staff shortages due to mandated quarantines.

“This move is necessary because the newest positive cases, mandated quarantines and survey responses have brought us to the point where we cannot properly operate our buildings and departments," Roselli said.

The specific dates for the full remote period are Jan. 4-13. Hybrid learning will proceed Jan. 14, with Group 2 attending in person.
