Brian Matthew Cassidy Of Bayville Dies At 34

Brian Matthew Cassidy, 34, of Bayville, died on Friday, July 20, 2018 at Community Medical Center in Toms River, NJ. He was 34.

Brian was born in Toms River and lived in Bayville. Brian was a simple, loving “little guy,” as his mom affectionately called him. It didn’t take much to see Brian happy and when he laughed, it was simply contagious. Brian’s favorite pastime was listening to music. He had a love of rock and roll and oldies. Mom and Brian danced to many of those happy songs.

He loved to watch Jeopardy. Brian loved hearing the Happy Birthday song- anywhere, anytime and for anyone! He loved long adventure rides in the car while sharing a snack. Brian loved the sound of motorcycles passing by and fireworks from a distance.

Brian had a huge smile and laugh that brightened everyday for his family. Even though Brian was categorized as “Special Needs,” it was actually him who taught the rest of us how to live life and to enjoy the simple pleasures that life has to offer.

Brian was a life member at Lehmann Center of LADCIN Network in Lakewood, NJ, which he enjoyed very much.Brian was the most special and the most innocent of all people. Everyday he saw and smiled to his guardian angel. He is with her now. We love you always “Little Guy.”

Surviving is his mother Michelle Feery and stepfather Pete Feery; his father Thomas Cassidy; his brothers Patrick Cassidy and Kyle Feery and his sisters Laura Cassidy and Rachel Feery. The family will receive friends from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Thursday July 26, 2018 at the Timothy E. Ryan Home for Funerals O’Connell Chapel 706 Rt. 9 Bayville, NJ. Committal will be private.
