Elizabeth A. Brower Of Bayville Dies At 85
Visitation and service will be held on Tuesday in Bayville.

Elizabeth A. (Betty) Brower of Bayville passed away peacefully on Dec. 29, 2017 with her loving family at her side. She was 85
Betty was predeceased by her loving husband of 64 years, Fred Brower. She leaves behind her son, Lawrence Brower and wife Ellen of Bayville, her daughter Sharon (Brower) Marino and husband Roger of Toms River, her beloved grandchildren, Sarah Brower and her fiance Robert Bedson, Patrick Brower, David Marino and his wife Melisa Rose, Stephanie Marino, and Elena Marino, and honorary grandchildren Mary Dates and Alexandria Graziosi. Betty will be deeply missed by her sister Elaine (Moeller) Clay and brother in-law John Brower. She also leaves behind many nieces and nephews.

Betty was born on December 23, 1932 in Irvington, NJ and spent much of her youth and all of her adult life in Bayville. She was secretary to the Bayville Schools superintendent for 30 years, and was a member of the Fire, First Aid and VFW Auxiliaries and the Berkeley Township Historical Society. Betty loved traveling, was an avid gardener and baker, and was happiest when surrounded by her family (especially her grandchildren - who were her pride and joy).
Visiting hours will be held from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., with a prayer service for 1:30 p.m. at the Mastapeter Funeral Home, 270 Atlantic City Blvd., Bayville. Burial will follow at the Bayville Cemetery, Bayville. In lieu of flowers, donations to Holy Redeemer Hospice would be appreciated.
