This Little Pup Has 9 Days To Find A Loving Home

BAYVILLE, NJ - See the sweet little dog in the photo? Her owner just went into a nursing home permanently.

Her name is Dee Dee. She is 15. Now the little poodle mix has no one other than Linda Lee, a kindly neighbor who visits with her several times a day. The dog is confused and lonely now that her owner is gone for good.

"I spend a lot of time with her because she is all alone," Lee said.

The owner's family wants the home sold to pay for her medical bills. The real estate agent who is selling the home said the dog must be out within the next nine days, Lee said.

"The owner's family does not want her," Lee said. "I have two dogs myself and can't take on another. I asked the son if he can take her and he told me to just open the door."

Dee Dee has some skin allergies, but is in good health otherwise. She has had all her shots.
