Major Berkeley Halloween Display Canceled Due To Coronavirus

BERKELEY, NJ — Although the coronavirus likely won't completely halt Halloween, one of Berkeley's spooky traditions won't return until next year. Advanced Furnace & Air Duct Cleaning announced they won't set up their Halloween display this year because of COVID-19.

The display began a decade ago with a small, inflatable setup and grew from there. The display has continued through adversity, including a fire in 2016, when the community came together to get things back up and running. Read more: Berkeley's Halloween Tradition Strengthens Every Year

The Ocean County Health Department has reported 906 coronavirus cases and 102 deaths in Berkeley since the pandemic began.
