New Café Opens Up On Berkeley's Route 9
The Perk Cafe offers fresh-brewed coffee, health-conscious food and fresh pastries from local bakeries.
BERKELEY, NJ — A new Berkeley business hopes to bring a bright spot to your day during hectic times. The Perk Cafe held its grand opening Monday at 333 Route 9.
The Perk Cafe offers fresh-brewed coffee, health-conscious food and fresh pastries from local bakeries.
"We know that life can get a little crazy sometimes, never stopping even when we wish we could just take a breath and rest," their website says. "This is why we want to offer you something to brighten your day and perk yourself up."

The Perk Cafe is open from 6:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. on weekdays and 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. on weekends. Each menu item is handcrafted by passionate locals, including baristas and creative partners, according to the café.
The coronavirus and related restrictions have created a difficult business climate, but that hasn't stopped a few new establishments from opening in Berkeley. New businesses include Bria Disc Golf, KC Vintage Tattoo and Hair & Barber Lounge.
