Police Arrest Bayville Man For $72,692 In Late Child Support

BAYVILLE, NJ - Berkeley Township police recently arrested a Bayville man who owed $72,692 in back child support, Police Chief Karin T. DiMichele said.

Sergeant Michael Ptaszenski and Patrolman Robert Murawski arrested Franklin D. Jones, 52, Frederick Drive, on Sept. 12 because of an active child neglect warrant from the Ocean County Sheriff's Department, the chief said.

Franklin was processed at police headquarters and taken to the Ocean County Jail in Toms River in default of bail, DiMichele said.
