Prevent Substance Abuse Webinar at Ocean County Library

Spend 30 minutes with this free online interactive program and learn how to honestly talk to your kids/teens about drugs and alcohol.

The Ocean County Library System will host a live virtual program, The Child Break , a 30 minute multi-media interactive program and you participate from the comfort of your home via a computer, tablet or phone.

Summer is here, school is out and Covid 19 has caused high anxiety in our children and teens. Our kids are seeking ways to cope with this unusual stress. This free program will help you direct your child away from poor decisions and empower them with positive choices and coping skills.

Parents and grandparents are STILL the strongest influence in their children’s lives! This is a free presentation that informs, encourages and empowers parents, grandparents, educators, coaches and any adult caregiver regarding effective communication with children and teens about the misuse and abuse of using alcohol and other drugs as coping devices.
