Renaissance Pavilion at Bacharach Ranked Among America’s Best
U.S. News & World Report Ranks Renaissance Pavilion at Bacharach Among America's Best Nursing Homes

Bacharach Institute for Rehabilitation’s Renaissance Pavilion has been named one of the nation’s Best Nursing Homes, Short-Term Rehabilitation for 2019-2020 by The U.S News & World Report, a global authority in health care rankings. The Renaissance Pavilion is one of only 2,250 homes in the nation and the only nursing home and short-stay rehabilitation facility in Atlantic County to receive a “High Performing” rating.
As part of the study, U.S. News evaluated more than 15,000 homes nationwide, in every state and nearly 100 major metropolitan areas. This year, U.S. News developed a new category where 13,683 facilities received a Short-Term Rating. The Short-Term Rehabilitation Ratings newly incorporate several measures of quality, including consistency of registered nurse staffing, minutes of physical therapy and success in preventing falls.
“We’re honored to receive recognition as the U.S. News & World Report’s Best Nursing Homes, Short-Term Rehabilitation designation for 2019-2020,” said Richard Kathrins, Ph.D., Bacharach’s CEO and President. “This prestigious ranking is possible thanks to our accomplished staff’s continued commitment to raising the bar for our patients.”
