Richard A. Acquaire, 71, Was Plumber, Avid Fisherman
A memorial service is set for Saturday to remember the man who loved to travel with his wife and family.

BERKELEY TOWNSHIP, NJ — Family and friends will be remembering the life of Richard A. Acquaire, who owned R & E Plumbing and Heating of Bayville and was an avid fisherman, at a memorial service on Saturday, Dec. 29.
Mr. Acquaire , who was born in Paterson and lived in Bayville most of his life, died Dec. 23, 2018 at the age of 71, according to his obituary on the Mastapeter Funeral Home website.
He proudly served his country in the United States Army during the Vietnam War, and he was the owner and operator of R & E Plumbing and Heating of Bayville for more than 30 years before retiring.

He enjoyed traveling and taking vacations with his wife and family. He was an avid fisherman and loved being on the water.
Mr. Acquaire was predeceased by his beloved wife, Evelynm in 2009, his son, Robert "Bob" Acquaire, in 2006, and by his mother, Viola Acquaire. Surviving are his children, Kelly Gmeiner and husband Ambrose, and Richard Acquaire and wife Ann; four grandchildren: Desiree, Tyler, Casandra and Gabriella; 1 great-grandchild, Scarlet, and several nieces, nephews and other relatives.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, Dec. 29, 2018 from 2 p.m.-4 p.m. at Mastapeter Funeral Home, 270 Atlantic City Boulevard, Bayville, NJ 08721.
