Thunderstorms, Heavy Rain Possible Wednesday

If you’re planning to do something outside after work today, such as going to the opening night of the Ocean County Fair, keep your eye on the forecast.

The National Weather Service is calling for a chance of showers and thunderstorms between now and 4 p.m., with the likelihood of storms increasing to 60 percent after 4 p.m. Some of the storms could produce gusty winds and heavy rain, the service says.

Showers and thunderstorms are possible into Thursday, the service says.
