2 Business Burglaries Reported In Bloomfield On Same Day: Police
In both incidents, a white van was reportedly involved, Bloomfield police said.
BLOOMFIELD, NJ — A pair of businesses in Bloomfield recently reported burglaries on the same day, authorities said Tuesday.
The Bloomfield Police Department released the following statements about each incident.
- April 27 – Officers responded to 48 West Passaic Avenue (John’s Deli) on report of a burglary. A witness observed two males exit a white work van that they parked on the sidewalk in front of the establishment. One male smashed the window to gain entry into the business. The business owner reported that nothing was taken at this time. Damage was done to the register and front door. This incident is under investigation.
- April 27 - Officers responded to 42 West Passaic Avenue (Prissy Paws) on report of a burglary. A witness observed two males exit a white work van that they parked on the sidewalk in front of the establishment. One male smashed the window to gain entry into the business. The business owner reported nothing was taken at that time. Damage was done to the front door. This incident is under investigation.
