“The victim was standing outside of her vehicle speaking with her father while the vehicle was running. A black Honda Civic and a grey Toyota Corolla pulled into the lot and parked next to her vehicle. Two males exited the vehicles and entered the victim’s vehicle. The victim then jumped into the backseat in an attempt to stop the vehicle theft. The suspect began to drive off with the victim in the backseat. The suspect then brandished a handgun and threatened the victim to get out or he will shoot her. The victim jumped from the vehicle and sustained abrasions to her knees and elbows from hitting the pavement.”

Both of the suspect vehicles were reported stolen out of other jurisdictions earlier that day, police said.

The suspects have not been identified at this time and the investigation is ongoing, Bloomfield police said Thursday.
