2 Car Thefts Reported In Bloomfield, Police Say
Vehicle thefts were reported on Bloomfield Avenue and Washington Street, police said.

BLOOMFIELD, NJ — A pair of vehicles were recently stolen in Bloomfield, authorities say.
According to the Bloomfield Police Department, the following incidents were reported in the township:
May 23 - Officers responded to 318 Bloomfield Avenue (Lynnes Nissan) on report of a stolen vehicle. The vehicle was returned on a lease on 8/10/2021. On 3/23/2021, the vehicle is unaccounted for and they believe the vehicle was stolen off their lot. The vehicle is a blue 2017 Nissan Sentra and was entered NCIC stolen.”

May 24 – “Officers responded to Washington Street on report of a motor vehicle theft. The owner parked his 2013 Hyundai Sonata on 3/22/2021. When he returned on 3/24/2021, the vehicle was gone. The vehicle was entered NCIC stolen. This incident is under investigation.”
