2021 Summer Events In Bloomfield: Outdoor Movies, Cars, Concerts

BLOOMFIELD, NJ — Looking for a chance to get out of the house, Bloomfield? There will be things to do all summer throughout the township, the Bloomfield Parks, Recreation and Cultural Affairs Department recently announced.

The following event announcements come via the township.

OUTDOOR MOVIES

The Bloomfield Parks, Recreation and Cultural Affairs Department is excited to announce our 2021 Outdoor Movies and Drive-Ins on Tuesday nights at 8:15 p.m. To meet the needs of our community we scheduled these events throughout the township.

Starting July 6, we are offering five free outdoor movies and drive-ins for you and your family to enjoy. Attend a movie near your home or come to all five.

We are also bringing back one of our resident's favorite events, our annual Outdoor Movie and Overnight Camp Out, which is scheduled for Friday, September 17 at Pulaski Park.

CRUISE NIGHTS, CAR SHOWS

We have four Hot Summer Nights Classic Cruise Nights and Car Shows on Wednesday nights on August 4, 11, 18 and 25 at Universal Technical Institute, 1515 Broad Street - Shelbourne Property.

CONCERTS

This year we have scheduled our concerts on Tuesday nights in fall on September 21, 28, October 3 at three different parks. We will have our fall concert finale on Saturday, October 16 at Foley Field, complete with amusements, games of chance, food vendors, DJ, a live band, and our annual fireworks spectacular (rescheduled from July 4, 2021).

GOLF OUTING

We are also continuing our annual Hank Barlow Memorial Golf Outing on Wednesday, August 4 at Farmstead Golf and Country Club.
