BLOOMFIELD, NJ — Dozens of people recently took to the streets of Essex County to raise money for victims of domestic violence.

On Oct. 10 and 11, more than 40 walkers came together for a virtual, 5K fundraising event to benefit the Bloomfield-based Partners for Women and Justice. The event raised more than $28,000, which will support the group’s efforts to give legal assistance to domestic violence victims and their children.

Participants included volunteer attorneys, trustees, Junior Advisory Board members, staff and supporters. Additionally, two New Jersey based law firms, Bevan, Mosca & Giuditta, P.C. and Seiden Family Law, participated in the event.
