Annual Fundraiser In Bloomfield Nets $7K For Local Scholarships

BLOOMFIELD, NJ — This year’s 32nd annual Ted Jasieniecki Alumni Basketball Game didn’t take place due to the coronavirus pandemic. But a swell of goodwill in Bloomfield has still netted more than $7,000 for the Bloomfield Educational Foundation’s Annual Ted Jasieniecki Scholarship.

Each year, the nonprofit awards two, $4,000 scholarships to a male and female senior basketball player in Jasieniecki’s honor.
