Anthony Ardino is Bloomfield High Athlete of the Month

The Bloomfield High School Athlete of the Month for December is Senior Anthony Ardino.

Anthony is not only a member of the Cross Country, Indoor and Outdoor Track Teams, but he is a captain for all of those teams, too.

Anthony was named Second Team all Essex County for his performance in Cross Country. He placed at the Shore Coaches Invitational, the Lancer Invitational, the Essex County Championship and the State Sectional Championship. Competing in Indoor Track he recently placed third in the 800 meter run at the Super Essex Conference American Division Championship and he was a member of the Sprint Medley team that placed fifth at the Essex County Relay Championship.

Having earned placement on the Honor Roll every marking period he has been at BHS, Anthony is a BHS Scholar-Athlete. He has a weighted GPA of 3.875.

Anthony is considering continuing his running career at East Stroudsburg University.

The Cross Country Team painted the safety zones around Bloomfield High School. The Track Team assisted at the Town Wide Youth Track Meet.
