Senior soccer player David Duret is the Bloomfield High School Athlete of the Month for September.
In the Bengals' first five matches Duret accumulated 3 goals and four assists. In the team’s 2-1 victory over Irvington, David had a goal and assist.
As a junior Duret earned all-league status. He is also a member of the Bengal track and field team.

Duret has a weighted GPA of 4.106 and is ranked 70 of 440. While Duret hopes to continue his athletic career in college, he has not yet decided on his college choice. He is a scholar-athlete and on the high honor roll.
In addition, Duret and his teammates organized a soccer clinic for community youth.
