The Bloomfield High School athlete of the month for October is volleyball captain Jeannelle Robinson.
Robinson accumulated over 100 digs in the course of the season. In addition, her passing helped the team win four of their final six matches including wins over West Orange and Caldwell.
Robinson has a GPA of 3.74 and has been a scholar-athlete in every season she has participated.

Robinson will continue her academic career at Rutgers University.

The Bloomfield high school athlete of the month award is sponsored by the Brookdale ShopRite, which will make a donation to the Bloomfield United Way in recognition of each month’s winner.
