Bloomfield Cops Issue 1,700 Parking ‘Warnings’ In 2 Weeks
After more than 1,700 warnings to vehicle owners, police are ready to start giving out tickets again as Bloomfield reopens from COVID-19.
BLOOMFIELD, NJ — After issuing more than 1,700 warnings to vehicle owners, police in Bloomfield are ready to start giving out tickets again as the town begins to shift out of its coronavirus shutdown.
The Bloomfield Police Department issued the following advisory at 2:15 p.m.:
“Since June 1, alternate side parking restrictions have been in effect. From June 1 through June 15, the Bloomfield Police Department has issued 1,725 ‘warnings’ to vehicles parked in violation in an effort to advise residents. Be advised that beginning Monday, June 22, summonses will be issued to vehicles that are parked in violation of the alternate side parking restrictions.”
