Bloomfield Coronavirus Cases Rise 61 Percent In 3 Months
Bloomfield's cumulative COVID-19 cases are up 61 percent since January. See month-by-month totals for the past year.
BLOOMFIELD, NJ — Bloomfield's cumulative coronavirus cases have risen 61 percent in the past three months, according to statistics from Essex County officials.
The town's total COVID-19 cases stood at 3,000 on Jan. 1. As of April 1, that total had risen to 4,837.
There have also been 114 cumulative deaths linked to the disease in Bloomfield, a 26.6 percent rise from Jan. 1, when the total stood at 90.
