Bloomfield Eats: Guided ‘Food Tour’ To Include 7 Restaurants
The guided event will take participants on a "food-filled trek" through Bloomfield Center's business district.

BLOOMFIELD, NJ — The Bloomfield Center Alliance’s first-ever “Food Tour” is set to launch in the township from 2 to 5 p.m. on Saturday, June 22.
According to a news release from the Bloomfield Center Alliance (BCA), the guided event will take participants on a “food-filled trek” through Bloomfield Center’s business district. It will include stops at multiple restaurants, and will give guests the chance to connect with the chefs and owners.
Featured cuisine will include Italian, Jamaican and “the American South,” organizers stated. (Learn more about this local event here)

The Food Tour of Bloomfield Center will begin and end at Bloomfield’s historic Lackawanna Train Station at the corner of Glenwood and Lackawanna Place. Participating restaurants in this tour include: Bloomfield Steak & Seafood, Bucco, Anthony’s Cheesecake, Dev’s Jamaican Cuisine, The Wooden Spoon Saloon, Aki Asian Cuisine and Essex Junction Craft Kitchen and Bar.
Participants can register and get tickets online here. Tickets are $30.

“The Food Tour of Bloomfield Center will showcase the incredible, multi-ethnic, creative, and walkable food scene here in Bloomfield Center,” said Ollyn Lettman, director of the Bloomfield Center Alliance.
“We have restaurants in the Center that have been open for years like Bloomfield Steak & Seafood and others that just opened this month like Bucco, and we’re excited for people to experience a number of them,” Lettman said.
