Bloomfield Harvest Fest Returns For 2019: Music, Food, Rides
The annual shindig in Bloomfield will include food, shopping, rides, music and a Harvest Beer and Wine Garden.

BLOOMFIELD, NJ — The 27th annual Harvest Fest celebration will take place on Saturday, Oct. 12 from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Broad Street in downtown Bloomfield. Several thousand people are expected to attend.
The rain date for the event is Sunday, Oct. 13.
According to a news release from organizers, the event will include “something for everyone,” such as food from local restaurant and festival vendors, shopping opportunities from more than 100 retailers and artisans, amusement rides and carnival attractions, live entertainment and a Harvest Beer and Wine Garden.

Street parking and parking in the lots around the downtown area will be free during the event.
This year’s Harvest Beer and Wine Garden is possible with the support of Bloomfield Buy-Rite Liquors. It will be located right next to the Harvest Fest main stage where attendees will be able to sit and enjoy music from a full roster of live bands and singers, including: Guitaro 5000, Brody, Take 2, Howlin’ Poets, and The Oxygen Box Band.

In addition, several downtown restaurants will be selling specialty items from their menus that day, including Anthony’s (first-time), Apna Punjab (first-time), Bucco’s (first-time), Burgers Grilled Right, Injera Ethiopian (first-time), Mangia Organica, Sweetberry Bowls (first-time), and The Wooden Spoon.
