BLOOMFIELD, NJ — The Bloomfield Health Department will hold an extra day of free coronavirus testing for residents to slow the spread of COVID-19.
After a previously announced testing event filled all of its available slots, Bloomfield officials organized a follow-up session, which will take place from 3:30 to 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 3 in the township parking lot at 1 Municipal Plaza.
According to a township news release, Bloomfield residents interested in getting tested should call 973-680-4057 to make an appointment. The township is especially encouraging teachers, janitors, aides and those working directly with the public to be tested. Testing will be conducted on a first-come, first-serve basis.
