Bloomfield Mandolin Orchestra To Hold St. Patrick’s Day Concert

The unique musical troupe will perform selections of Irish music for St. Patrick's Day and Italian music in recognition of St. Joseph's Day.

BLOOMFIELD, NJ — Those seeking a unique musical experience this St. Patrick’s Day – as well as St. Joseph’s Day – can catch a special, themed performance from the Bloomfield Mandolin Orchestra on Sunday, March 17.

The orchestra – which consists of several mandolin players under the direction of Maestro Enrico Granafei – will return to Oakeside Bloomfield Cultural Center at 240 Belleville Avenue in Bloomfield. They will perform selections of Irish music for St. Patrick’s Day and Italian music in recognition of St. Joseph’s Day.

The concert takes place from 2 to 4 p.m. Organizers recommended early reservations, as the event sells out quickly. For reservations, call 973-493-2473. Tickets will also be available at the door, and are $10 and $5 for seniors/students with ID. (Learn more about this local event here)
