Bloomfield Nonprofit Gets $5K Grant To Provide Free Legal Aid
The grant will help Partners for Women and Justice give free legal assistance to low-income victims and survivors of domestic violence.
ESSEX COUNTY, NJ — A $5,000 grant will help an Essex County nonprofit to give free legal assistance to low-income victims and survivors of domestic violence.
Bloomfield-based Partners for Women and Justice recently announced that it received a grant from Investors Foundation in Short Hills, which is much appreciated amid “the heightened prevalence and severity of domestic violence during the COVID-19 pandemic.”
“We are very excited to be partnering with Investors Foundation and grateful for their support of our work in providing free legal assistance to low-income domestic violence and sexual assault victims,” Executive Director Julie Murphy said.
