The longtime Essex County resident was active in several community organizations in Bloomfield.
Former Essex County resident Frances Wisneski passed away on Sept. 30.
She was 88-years-old.

“Frances M. Wisneski, 88, of Sparta, formerly of Montclair, entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, September 30, at Knollview Assisted Living in Sparta.
“Born October 8, 1926 in Abington, MA, she lived most of her life in Belleville, before moving to Montclair.

“She was a retired waitress from the Forest Hill Field Club in Bloomfield, where she worked for many years. She was a former member of both the American Legion and White Eagle Associations of Bloomfield.
“She is predeceased by her husband, John in 1992. Surviving to cherish her are her children, Darlene Walter, Linda Dicker & Diane Kofton, 6 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.”
