Bloomfield Offering Fee-Free Adoptions For ‘Animal Shelter Week’
The Bloomfield Animal Shelter also accepts stray and surrendered pets from Glen Ridge and Caldwell.

BLOOMFIELD, NJ — Every dog and cat deserves a loving home. And as part of “National Animal Shelter Week,” the Bloomfield Animal Shelter will put this mindset to work, temporarily waiving adoption fees for all pooches and kitties more than 1-year-old.
The Bloomfield shelter will be waiving fees on dogs and cats over 12-months-old from Saturday, Nov. 10 to Saturday, Nov. 17 in an effort to “find loving homes and second chances for all adult animals” in its care.
The municipally run shelter accepts stray and surrendered pets from Bloomfield, Glen Ridge and Caldwell, according to its website.
