BLOOMFIELD, NJ — It was a day for cuteness, tail wagging and support for the local animal shelter in Bloomfield.
Earlier this month, the Easter Bunny paid a visit to Downtown Bloomfield along with dozens of local residents, who brought their furry best friends to the Bloomfield Center Alliance’s “Photo with a Pet” event.
During the April 7 event, the BCA, along with volunteers from the Supporters of the Bloomfield Animal Shelter, created a pop-up photo studio at 78 Washington Street in an empty storefront near the heart of the downtown district.

Organized as a benefit for the shelter, the event proved to be “a fun day of cuteness and tail wagging,” in addition to helping the shelter to raise donations, the BCA stated.
“We want to thank everyone who participated and supported this effort – especially The Shops at Bloomfield Station – who have been a great community partner allowing us to host various activities in their space, including art exhibitions and holiday programs,” said BCA Director Ollyn Lettman.
